Some things in life are more important than the Red Sox. This group qualifies as one of them!

Three Sisters

Faith is sure lucky to have Maddy and Morgan. Two big sisters who like to feed her, change her clothes, fix her hair, give her a bath, take her for walks, and kiss and love her. I have two sisters who are my best friends. I hope that these three grow up to feel the same way. A sister is always there and can be your biggest support.

sundays

Hmmm let's see. Morgan is ready for church. Maddy is ready for church. Tanner is ready for church. Coleman is ready for church. Faith is NOT ready for church. Sundays are such a struggle with Faith. She just does not know how to be reverent for three hours of church. We are lucky if she makes it through two meetings. But the big kids are great. Always ready on time!!! Good job guys!

bracelet

Look closely at the little bracelet that Faith is wearing. Maddy made it for her! We love it. The colors go with everything and just knowing that is was made special from Maddy makes it the best!

sandwiches and the sun

We had a stroller adventure this weekend. It was myself, Morgan, Tanner, and of course Faith. We decided it was a nice day for a walk so we (no not we, I) was a bit overzealous and we decided to walk to Quiznos for a $5 sub. It was around 2:00 pm and I did not realize what a warm day it was out there. We lathered up in sunscreen but as the trip continued I was worried that Faith was getting sunburned. Her face was getting hot, red and sweaty. The kids tried to shadow her as much as possible. Once we finally made it to the sandwich shop I made a few embarrassing phone calls . . . one to my Mom and one to Lala to see if they were anywhere in our vicinity to see if we could catch a ride home. Nana was the closest and very willingly picked us up and drove us home. Thanks Nana. We love you.
It was all worth it though. When we were about half way there and our conversation had gotten quiet - cute Tanner was walking a bit behind me and said, "Thank you Melanie." It melted my heart. Even more than they blazing hot sun. I love these kids. I have the best stepkids EVER!

hawaiian dress

The kids had a chance to go to Hawaii for Spring Break. They brought Faith back this darling Hawaiian dress. I got a darling fish bracelet with tons of different colors on it. Mike got a Hawaii t-shirt and some golf balls. Thanks kids for bringing these surprises home. We love them!

open wide

The kids enjoyed feeding Faith in her new booster chair this past weekend. And as you can tell from the pictures - Faith enjoyed it as well! Chelsea called Tanner the "Baby Whisperer" and she is right.

cancun t-shirt

Heather brought this cute pink t-shirt home from Cancun for Faith. It is nice and comfy with a cute sparkly butterfly on it. Thank you!

uncle rob

Mike's youngest brother Rob (27 years old) was diagnosed with Leukemia on Wednesday evening. Our family is struggling to get our minds around the challenge that lies ahead. We love Rob and plan to be there with him every step of the journey. Rob has a very infectious smile and a witty sense of humor and know that this will help along the way. Rob will start his chemotherapy today along with a bone marrow biopsy. Please keep Rob in your thoughts and prayers and close to your heart as we take things one day at a time. We love you Rob.

go directly to jail

Faith is crawling and very very mobile so we had to buy a gate to keep her upstairs and not falling down the stairs. Coleman took these pictures of her "in jail"!

I think she is giving Coleman a pouty face so he opens the door and sets her free!

girl talk

Faith loves to play with the kids' cell phones. And they are so good to share with her. Even if it means the phone gets chucked now and then! Here are Faith and Maddy having some girl talk!

welcome baby paisley

My brother Jeremy and his wife Nicole welcomed their first baby today.
Welcome Paisley Nicole Christoffersen
April 3, 2008
6 pounds 12 ounces
18.5 inches long

Faith cannot wait until she is big enough to play! And we cannot wait to kiss and love her more. She has cute light colored hair and it may be curly. Time will tell. We love you already Paisley.

PlaY TiMe

Tanner loves to play with Faith and Faith loves to play with Tanner. This past weekend they were crawling together and racing. Oh wow - Faith thought that was about the best thing ever! They have such a fun time together and you cannot but help laugh when you watch them.

HoMeWorK

Faith is trying to help Coleman with his homework. Or maybe Coleman is letting Faith sit with him while he contemplates DOING his homework. Hmmm.....
